Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Special Educational Needs have become very important in the UK educational system with more specialist environments being set up and more candidates with skills to support children with disabilities and learning difficulties being identified.

We are focussed on providing quality staff to support SEND children and are looking for candidates with experience with SEN or with transferable skills in other areas which could compliment this environment.

The behavioural side of SEN requires a good communicator, someone who is calm under pressure and also whilst working with children with complex needs it is important to be patient, willing to learn and have a real passion and flexibility to help children with many different disabilities.

With the above in mind SHARES would consider applications from candidates who can show the right skills and have experience in SEN, although not exclusively in SEN school environments.
