Position: KS2 Teacher
Location: Bickerstaffe
Start Date: September 2026
Hours: Monday – Friday (08.30am – 16.00pm)
Year: Year 3/4
Pay: £232.56 per day

Role & Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver individualized learning programmes for students with cognitive and learning difficulties.
- Use a variety of teaching strategies and interventions to engage and support diverse learning needs.
- Work closely with SENCOs, support staff, and external professionals to implement effective Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs).
- Monitor student progress, set achievable targets, and provide detailed feedback to parents and carers.
- Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that promotes confidence and independence.
- Adapt teaching materials and resources to ensure accessibility for all students.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to support staff working within the SEND department.
Qualifications Required:
- Qualified Teacher Status
- In depth knowledge of the curriculum
- Teaching experience across all key stages
- Flexibility, adaptability and confidence
- Strong classroom management skills
- An enhanced DBS check on the update service or be willing to apply for a new DBS
- Provide a full work history and references to cover a minimum of 5 years
